What it means

Twilio's 30795 is a brand registration failure, not a campaign one: the tax ID data didn't match. The registry checks the legal business name and EIN you entered against IRS records, and they have to agree almost character for character. Until the brand passes, no campaign can be approved.

Why it usually happens

How to fix it

  1. Find your IRS paperwork: the EIN confirmation letter (CP 575) or a 147C verification letter. Tax forms you fill in yourself are not a reliable source.
  2. Copy the legal name exactly as the letter shows it, including the entity ending.
  3. Double-check the EIN digits and the business address.
  4. Update the business profile in your Twilio or HighLevel console, then resubmit the brand.
  5. If the EIN is brand new, waiting for it to propagate may be the fix. Contact support about manual review if you have IRS documents that prove the match.
  6. Leave your DBA for the brand name field where the form allows a separate display name.

Questions and answers

Is 30795 a campaign problem?

No, it's on the brand. Fixing your campaign text won't help until the brand passes.

Can a sole proprietor without an EIN register?

There's a separate sole proprietor brand type with its own limits. Don't enter an SSN as if it were an EIN.

How many times can I resubmit a brand?

Providers limit free brand resubmissions, so check the details carefully before you resubmit.

Where can I get a 147C letter?

The IRS issues it on request to the business. It's free.

Next step

Run your rejection text through the free checker to confirm nothing else was flagged. If you'd rather not rewrite the fields yourself, our approval packets cover the description, samples, opt-in wording and policy text. Carriers make the final call, so we can't promise approval, but we revise free until it goes through.
